Paola Ambrosi
Paola Ambrosi, known in sacred traditions as Ná Áak—"Mother Turtle"—is a spiritual teacher and a sower of consciousness whose life has been dedicated to the service of awakening the human soul. With the pilgrimage of a journey through worlds, Paola has embodied for over three decades the fusion of ancestral wisdom, sacred science, and transpersonal psychology, guiding thousands toward the restoration of their inner sovereignty—the divine spark that dwells within every being.
Raised in the lineage of the indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica, she was initiated by the elders of the Indigenous Maya Council as a guardian of legacy and received the living teachings of Doña Julieta Casimiro, a Mazatec priestess and bearer of the healing fire of María Sabina. This direct transmission of lineages of ancient wisdom marked Paola with a spiritual destiny: to safeguard the mysteries of the Earth and to be a bridge between worlds. To this legacy is added her profound study and practice of the mystical paths of the East: Tibetan Buddhism, Chinese and Tibetan medicine, Kriya Yoga, esoteric Kabbalah, as well as the inner technologies of transpersonal psychology. She was a direct disciple of the visionary psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, with whom she trained in holotropic breathwork, an initiatory tool for the inner journey. She complements her lineage with the personal guidance of Swami Sadhanananda Giri Ji, who activated the teachings of Sanatana Dharma within her.
In 2004, she founded Betranspersonal, a sanctuary for the integration of the science of the soul and the medicine of the spirit, and more recently, Qualia, a global movement that fosters the rebirth of Homo Noumenon—the luminous human being, sovereign and conscious of their multidimensional nature.
Her path has been that of the medicine woman, one who walks between dimensions, listening to the voice of the Earth and the stars. For 25 years, she has dedicated her work to researching and refining the use of master plants and sacred molecules, understood as spiritual technologies that, in a ceremonial context and with proper guidance, open portals to the soul and allow for the healing of deep wounds within. Far from profane uses, Paola maintains that these sacraments must be approached with devotion, ethical rigor, and a transcendental vision, as they are custodians of living archetypes and gateways to the Mystery.
Her voice has resonated in numerous circles of healing, science, and spirituality. She was the director of the Irish Transpersonal Association, co-author with Ervin László of *The Nature of Reality*, author of *Awakening of Consciousness*, and co-creator of the podcast *Sámana-Ká*, a space dedicated to the oral transmission of sacred knowledge, along with Edgar David Aguilera.
The impact of her presence is felt beyond the visible. As one of the many people touched by her medicine aptly put it:
